Transporting Lava Lamps

Id like to take my lava lamp with me to university. are there any points to consider when transporting them e,g, how i should pack them in my suitcase? any advice would be much appreciated,

Hi Gideon and a warm welcome to Oozing Goo. Why not tell us more about yourself and your interest in the lava scene. It would be nice to know. There are many nice folks to speak to here about lava issues and collecting etc.
