Turning two 32 oz globes into one 52 oz globe?

Hey fellow lava lovers.I have two 90's 32 oz globes (same color and fluid) that I want to join together and put into a larger 52 oz globeDoes anyone have experience doing this? I don't think I can successfully make this move without hearing about others' experiences doing so- I am most worried about sticking wax. What should I look out for and would you recommend using the straw method (to transfer wax and avoid sticking to glass).See More

"Try kerosene. No more than 1 ML. You will need to remove the master fluid and melt the wax and add it. Kerosene is less dense than water and will float otherwise. Kerosene will break up the flow."

"Hi Judy, I have had a similar issue before with one of my 90's lamps. A possible solution to the issue is to boil the wax. It appears that your wax is separated. To do this, you drain the liquid aside while leaving just a little left inside the…"

Flowing column potential fix?

Hi all,I have a century that likes to only flow in a column. No matter how long it stays turned on, we only see that unbreakable column flow.I was wondering if replacing the liquid in this century with different liquid from another USA lamp would change the flow considering the possibly different formula makeup there? Or is the column flow only a wax issue? Any help would be highly appreciated to break the damn thing!(For reference, the century is a 90's lamp and the replacement liquid would…See More

Anyone else counting down the days till magma tower reopens?

I have had empty globes sitting around and noticed back in June that they would start accepting orders someday that month, but when that day came, the reopen date then became July 31st. I haven’t ever done a goo kit before so i’m pretty eager to trySee More
