Something Interesting About Me:: I'm mum to 5 lovely kids and I work at a dog rescue.
I have two dogs of my own, a grumpy 5yo staffy and a crazy 1yo Sprocker spaniel.
I love Yoga and anything that brings harmony to my busy life.

Where I Live:: Isle of Wight, UK

My First Lava Lamp was:: I bought an old Jet at a boot sale which didnt work the lava just sat at the bottom and after looking online found they could be fixed which got me hooked!
I now have a small collection of Mathmos lamps which I intend on adding to asap!

If the mixture doesn't work quite well, you can pour it away and start again. Just take it nice and slow as you add the salts and you will see changes after small amounts of the salts are added. Add a few drops of the disolved salts then watch how the lamp runs for 30 mins or so, if the wax isn't rising enough, add a bit more. For the gel, ie; shower gel, I only added two small drops.
