"i was gutted they didnt do a complete copper version, the black part would have to be stripped down to the bare metal then would need to be anodized by a company, must be someone out there who can do it but i reckon wont be cheap. "

"You are correct, and the color intensifies as the goo raises to the top due to more fluid between the goo and the light source. I think he is talking about the brilliant yellow mathmos goo Tame it down in two ways,  Dye the fluid or Dye the wax…"

"Candle wax or liquid dye works fine.Remember, darker colors are highly effective and a little goes a long way in tinting the wax"

"I had to rewire my Imperial and a Russian Cosmos Lamp. The trick is twirling the wire strands together and wrapping that around the screws in the direction the screw turns so that the wires stay in place as you go to tighten the screws. Other than…"
