Thanks for the welcome back. I like my black starship and took a lot of work to restore but it does have some minor flaws still, but the flow is great!

Thank you, Jerome for the comment you left. I did love my dad very much. It is hard going through this holiday season without him. Thanksgiving wasn't the same and Christmas won't be either.
I know it will get easier with time.

Thank you for your support.

You know I was in London in October last year for a few days (on holiday) and would you believe I hadn't started collecting then, so I missed out on a pilgrimage to the Mathmos shop ;( Could have filled a suitcase but I'd have had to lug it all over Europe as London was the first stop!
Never mind, at least I have an excuse to go back sometime!

Hi Jerome, great collection! Hopefully I'll be the proud owner of 50 or 60 Mathmos lamps one day - my wife may something to say about that though!
That aussie lamp is pretty impressive, I had no idea we had anything like it in this country... I'll definitely have to keep an eye out for one now!
Cheers Rod

Thanks for welcoming me into the lava community. Loved lava in the 70s and just got back into them a couple years ago. Enjoy seeing the cool pics and all the info offered by fellow lavaheads.

Oh and btw, you wouldn't happen to know how to get pesky air bubbles out of wax would you? My lamp all of a sudden aquired air bubbles...

Thanks Mate! I've got a few questions to ask about fixing up a certain lamp - I'll try to upload a photo with my enquiry.
