The base on the left is gloss black, and the one on the right is gloss white.

I LOVE these rainbow glitter lamps! I seriously want to make myself one, now that I know what they look like. I also want very much to explore 2-color glitter...like blue/orange, blue/green, blue/purple, etc.

Anybody game?

This glitter fluid is from the Chinese lamps that I imported. They use a larger flake glitter sometimes, resulting in a slower flow, and smaller glitter sometimes, resulting in faster flow. This can be further altered by the addition of glycerine to the water. If you add more, it will slow down the flow.
