This is later the same day after the Giant Lava lamp has been running for 7 hours. Better but still not using most of the wax. Blobs are about 1 to 2 inches ...

Hi guys,

I've been babying my giant but it's still not doing large blobs this is about 7 hours after start.  I will do a last video tonight before I shut it off at about 10 hours.  Any later and I lose enough light to video because the dark wax doesn't allow light from the flood to aluminate the lamp very much.  Oh did I tell you I made it  a sweater to help it warm up for the first hour? Ok go ahead an roll your eyes you know you want one :)

just a few things to check - make sure the bulb base isn't crooked and that it's situated under the center of the base of the globe.  maybe the bulb is bad?  or perhaps the environment is still too cool (you mentioned the temps is around 72F in the other thread).  to me, it seems like the wax isn't getting hot enough to really flow.
