So, in case Keith was wondering, here is what I found today at a flea market. This is a video with it running for about 3 hours and it's getting better with each passing hour.

Great Deal!
Thanks Mr. Grande
Now the question is, what do I do with my other one that is empty? I have limited space and was gonna convert to glitter but this one works really well. It's been running for many hours and works like a champ.
Buy glitter kit form Kirk or wait to see if I have enough red to do anything with
That's a beautiful flowing grande! And yes, lava finds are so scarce here that I do live vicariously through the finds of my goohead friends.
Claude, I guess I'll leave it empty in my living room for while even though I am not thrilled about having to do that as I don't really have a place to store it.
Didn't you mention something in another thread about someone finding a suitable replacement cap at a hardware store or something along those lines. I don't recall you advising what it was. Do you have a link to that thread??
Thanks
Keith, I didn't see your reply there sorry.
Thanks, you should see it now, even my wife is surprised. It makes some very cool and crazy formations.
Based on the cap info in my thread, would you know how old it is? The globe definitely seems to be china made as it has similar imperfections as my empty one but not nearly as many.
Also the mold line which is horiztonal is much lower down on the globe that my empty one.
Dang, I forgot to add, I hear you on the finds. I am not complaining believe me. I do wish I found older stuff from the the 90's and before. Other than the bottle you are waiting for, everything seems to be post U.S. manufacture.
