Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

hi. i have the opportunity to get one of these for about $40 including shipping.
i haven't seen many come up on ebay.
it's silver base/yellow lava/clear liquid and seems pretty clear but the photo wasn't great.
it seems good to me but as i've only really been collecting a month, i thought i'd ask.
i wanna get it but can be wicked impulsive...
thanks y'all

Excellent price, evne if you find the globe is off color or cloudy... snatch it up!
$40 is a good price for that lamp.
I picked up a black one for $12 a while back.

Here is one I picked up a couple of years ago for $5.00 at a garage sale. No box, but It flows beautifully and is a great looking lamp.

thanks for the info.
does that probably mean the globe with it is not original (if it's yellow/clear) or that it's possibly a different year? or maybe even it was a different color but the liquid faded. i should probably wait to see it to decide but dadgumit, i ain't too patient....
