The future of Lava looks bleak...
So my GF is bragging to her friend about how big our new LavaLite Colossus is, and her friend says "I got a Lavalamp a while ago and they are stupid. In fact, I will just give it to you if you like them so much." She brought it out of the hallway closet.
Of course I take it. It is a Hua Xing brand, black base with blue water and yellow wax. Water was relatively clear, but when it heats up, you get 3 eggs floating at the top and one blob moping around the bottom. No wonder she thinks Lavalamps are stupid!
If this is what people nowadays are buying in the USA as "LavaLamps", then the future looks pretty bleak.
