Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Slightly off topic (since it contains no goo!) but has anyone ever come across a Fibre Optic Lamp called Colorama (US spelling despite being made in the UK) made by a company called Sheerlite Ltd?

I can't find any information on the product itself, and the company went in to liquidation around 2001 it would seem.

Hi

You can find the details of their liquidation registered at Companies House, just search under "dissolved names". Unfortunately the liquidation was handled by an agent, so there are no details of the actual owner.

My camera isn't great, but heres a couple of shots of my Colorama, originally purchased in June 1978.

I have a few Sheerlite lamps and some interesting designs including one which looks like a Duracell battery!
