Hello gooites ! I am searching here to find more information on this Lava Lite I have. I got it about 9 years ago with the first copy of Windows XP I purchased. If I had any idea they would be so elusive and difficult to find I would have bouht a dozen of them. Please, if anyone knows where I could buy more, how many were made or any tidbits of info I would be greatly appreciative.

Well to me it is very unique, and looks very nice. Cheap knock off or not.

Thanks for the basically vague information.

I am wondering if anyone knows where to find out anything specific, how many made, by what cheap chinese company etc.

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer.
I don't know the company, but there are lamps very similar on ebay, minus the "windows xp" decal. If you want more for the looks of the lamp itself ebay is probably your best chance. If you want more with "windows xp" I have seen one or two on ebay during the last year or so, but they are few and far between. Another thought is craigslist. You can search for what you want, or you can post a "wanted" add.
no offense taken. I do not own but have seen the other lamps my dad has had on in his room forever. Anyway if you have not seen one of these in action you can not really appreciate it i think. These have nice flow, filled with glittery X and P floaties, has clear goo in clear liquid. When the bulb is on the curve of the glass causes it to glow the blue and orange XP colors from the xp package.
His lamp is China but not THAT bad. It is a custom lamp. He stated the "sparkles" are actual X's and P's. If that's the case, it is not your normal China lamp.

It's not worth tons either. If you like it and it flows good, what's the problem?
Thanks everyone for all the great input. I love my lamp ! haha ANyway it is amazing to me with the color effects, and it just impresses me how the curve of the glass is just so that it reflects only orange and blue light.

To me it is a really well thought out amazing lamp.

Everyone who has ever seen it in action is amazed by it.

Hence I was hoping it may be rare and valuable since I have searched ebay and the web hundreds of times and can find nothing about it. But anyway 100 years from now some one will pay my progeny well for it LOL.

Take care everyone. Thanks again.
