Crestworth Coach Lantern Question...

Hi all,

 

Just noticed that the new coach lantern I picked up is different to any other I have seen. It does not have the rings running around the cone that the bottle sits in. All of the others I have seen have two rings running around it.

My coach lantern now has pride of place in our living room… Wife has fallen in love with it. Put a yellow with red lava bulb in it. The original green with yellow lava was knackered.

Firstly, thanks for all the replies.

Maybe the early ones had no rings.... I have seen lots with the rings but this is the 1st I have seen without.

And yes, Copper is best!! If only they did a LTD edition copper Mathmos Telstar or Lunar!!

A copper Lunar would be the dogs dangleys!!

I know what you mean!! I do a bit of metal detecting myself. Found a fair few Roman and Medieval coins, yet to dig up a lava lamp though!! Would be pretty surreal!! lol
