What lamp is this, and why am I smiling from ear to ear?

Found it in an obscure corner of E-Bay, overseas.
And yes, it cost a bit, but the price wasn't outrageous.

It arrived this weekend! Tidied up the wiring, cleaned it, and installed a shade.

I had a staff party at my place on Saturday.The MKll, the Glitterlte Wall Sconce, and the Imperial were all bubbling away. Some soft jazz was playing on the telefunken, floor length curtains were closed, valance backlights were on. Very nice.......

I hope to get some pictures soon.

Here's a picture of the lamp. I've temporarily installed a shade on it. I have a much nicer shade coming for it soon....
