Did anybody besides me see the final selling price on the wave machine?  $810.00  Whoda thunk it!?

Hi all there,
here are the pictures of the glorious Atlantis: children must go in their room.
Gosh

:-) Kris...
Thank you, but don't forget that after all I'm a journalist.
But I agree about the karma!
I bet the base could be fix. It's a kind of puzzle, but inside the base I find a couple of metallic parts that probably fits.
But how to find a spare tank?
good luck !

Follow some of my other post and I had some links on where to buy the materials. ( acrylic tubes and fluids and such.)
Most places will sell caps, or will make them for you if you ask.
Cheapest i've found.

And they will make caps for the ends for you at request.
Yes, I hope it turns out well and he gets something back. Hopefully something will work out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Thank you Dr... Sorry for your time.
@'Baby: it seems the right formula is still unknown, when it will be discovered I'll buy a tube from your links...
Looks like someone opened it, played some baseball with the Wave part, using the base as the ball! Serious weight/pressure was applied to this package...
Who do you suppose repacked it?
Really I don't know.
The problem here is we have two players: USPS and DHL to Europe.
I personally think is USPS because when DHL received it and sent me in Europe they made me pay for a 6lbs shipment, that means they received it empty and already broken.
BUT it is possible DHL broke it BEFORE balance it.
Then they sent it to me with a 10 dollar value item while doc sent it with a 800 dollar value.
We'll never know.

The timing of that Ebay auction was unfortunate for me. :(
This Atlantis wave machine would probably still be working and proudly displayed on my shelf, If only I was able to bid more at that time.
Unfortunately, I had just bought two Lunar lamps from London, one week prior, so I was still rebuilding my available spending money, or else I would have been able to bid what was needed to win that awesome wave machine.

I really do not understand why it would be so hard for Lava Lite to start making wave machines again.
If they can produce and sell a four foot tall lava lamp, you would think that they could make and sell a nice wave machine as well?
Perhaps some other company will recognize the current demand for these machines, and start making them again.
That is what I am hoping. :)
I am working on it, my friend.  Send your email address to phreaktor@yahoo.com for updates in the coming weeks.  I actually bought the remains of this Atlantis from Dr. What....
