Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I went to Kmart today to see what lava lamps they had in stock. It turned out that they had more lamps than every other store I went to. They had a bunch of 20 oz and 8 oz. However they were hit or miss though. I am a sucker for blue/yellow lamps and I got an 8 oz blue/yellow for $8. They also had a clear/black that looked horrible. I dont know what happened to it but the wax was a gray brown color with spots of white everywhere. I opened several lamps and most were clear but the lamps seem to have been made about 5 years ago. Since Kmart doesnt sell nearly as much stuff as Walmart their stock is probably really old.

I am surprised at how well my little lamp flows, its almost as good as the 32oz blue/yellow that I have.

Yep, my Kmart/Sears (LOL) has a ton of them. I opted for a clear/Black last fall & thankfully, it's tar black & very clear. The 8 oz. are what I call the 2 hour lamp, cause if they run longer, they stop movement.
I've never owned a 20 oz. & probably never will. I've been spoiled by the 32's, the 52's & my Grandes (which are now DEAD).
