US road trip

Greetings all. I plan to be passing through Montana, South Dakota, Chicago, Detroit, then back through Canada all the way to Newfoundland. I hope to have time to head down through New York all the way to Florida, then along the Gulf to Texas, then angle my way back up to Alberta. I have 7 weeks off. It sure would be cool to meet some of my American fellow gooheads along the way and check out the wonderful collections out there. Got back from the States last Thursday. I had a really enjoyable trip. America is a great place. The people were very friendly, and there were lots of interesting things to see. I especially enjoyed the Midwest (Iowa, Indiana) and the Appalachian mountains were spectacular.
