Two grand. No problem... It's the shipping charge, if they even will, to North American that's gonna be the kicker!! I'm imagining 2 at my front door entrance!!

Lol, I like how everyone is now using the term "bespoke". These lamps while beautiful, are pretty much overkill. That goes for us that are in the USA. The cost to get them here would be triple that of the lamp itself.
Ho-hum.....looks pretty boring (in my humble opinion).
A big straight cylinder? Kind of like a Jet on steroids. It's just a pyrex tube on a cylindrical metal base. Looks like it was cobbled together as simply as possible, with no thought to decor or design.
You'd better not have kids or pets in your house. It looks like it's apt to fall over very easily.
Bigger isn't better. Giant lamps like this one just tend to send up seperate blobs (yuck).
And what about the price? Are you kidding me?
I'm sorry Mathmos, but if you really want to impress me, then re-issue the Princess/Imperial model, or something like it.
How about a maple base, on teak legs, with a black anodized cup and cap? Use your imagination. Colors: bring back some of the old Crestworth color combinations, along with the old formula.
One can only hope....

I wouldn't risk it, as we have two Golden Retrievers and they are very active, I'd be terrified they'd knock it over (as they have done most other things) Even things at coffee table level are at risk of being cleared by their tails.
