I plan on buying old lamps in the future to renew. I plan on reading more on how to remove and replace the tops. What I'm wondering is are there ones easier or more removal/replacement friendly then others?

The Mathmos Astro is what I plan on getting for my first. But I feel as if I've already gotten the bug. The pictures of several together is just too neat.
