whats going on with the dead birds and fish?

I'm sure everyone around the world is a tad freaked out about all these birds and fish dying. First is was in Arkansas about 3000 blackbirds fell from the sky, then a crap load of fish. A day later about 1000 blackbirds were found dead in Louisana and now these are being reported all over the world. Is this the end of days coming?

So who has a stock pile of food, guns, ammo, precious metals, and lamps? Anyone? I know I have a good stock pile of lamps that I'll have to use solar panels to run when the end comes.

Yep, glenn beck is pushing that junk. He scares people into thinking the economy is falling apart, then he tries to convince them to buy gold and survival packs for the inevitable collapse of the economy. What a scum bag.

Apparently these mass bird and fish deaths happen all the time.  But now it's being televised, so there's a lot more awareness around the world about it. Either way if these deaths are human caused we need to fix this crap quick. The way I see it, the planet will only handle so much before it backfires on us.

Thats the thing we have the capability for cleaning things up but the damage has already been done IMO. And I agree with you on ecological impact we, as humans, have on everything. But this is what we've been taught (ingrained in our DNA so to speak) to get a job and work until your old and gray. And commuting is our only way to achieve these goals unless we all decide one day that we want to work down the street, which isn't possible for about 90% of the population. It just sad and realyl not surprising that all this mass deaths of animals are happening, it's just extremely odd that it's all seem to be happening all within weeks of each other.

I just don't know buddy.  I don't think its so much all the press these deaths are getting, its the global warming fervor we've been whipped up into.  Its a total lose lose situation.  So say this is due to the BP oil spill.  Call to arms, alternative energy full speed ahead.  Let's start with some wind farms.  Oh wait, major concerns there with migratory patterns and bird deaths.  Oh, and the rich and famous don't want their pristine views impacted either.  

 

And keep in mind these are very visual deaths.  What about the ones we don't see falling out of the sky or washing up on shore?  What do you think the ecological impact was of you driving your car to work today?  Of the gazillion others who did?  How many coons, possums, deer, etc. took one on the chin in the name of our "progress".  We build a sub-division and critters get a raw deal.  We build a piece of crap like Gurnee Mills and its even a rawer deal.  I guess its advantage humans; just sucks the natural world tends to suffer as a result.

It is so very strange it has to be said, I would really like to know what causes mass deaths like this, most strange. There's the obvious such as posions, could be anything though.
