Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi folks,

Does Paypal protect buyers when purchasing from private sellers [outside of Ebay]?

( when paying money using someone's paypal email address)

I know their are certain requirements:-

  • full single payment
  • no prohibited items

Any comments?

I believe they should but make sure you do it as quick as possible, the time frame may be smaller than Ebay purchases though im not sure. If you did not complete the transaction yet ask Paypal directly beforehand to get the exact things they will and will not cover in non Ebay sales.

I believe so as well. As long as money is being moved from one person to another, there is some level of protection. As a SELLER, you should always have tracking on your item.

I have bought several items outside of eBay through Paypal and haven't had any issues.
