hi guys,

im no electrician so was after a bit of advice on how many lamps i could safely put on one wall socket

I can help you out on this - first of all you need to find the wattage of the indervigual lamps you wish to run of 1 13A socket (the wattage should be found on the bulbs). Then add the wattage of the lamps together and then devied this by the voltage - this gives you the total amount of amps. - The total amps of a standerd socket is 13A so the total amount of amps must not exceed 13Amps.
