Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

well i have a lunar with a nose cone that looks like a teenagers face, all pitted and dented and ugly, well my boys are like this anyway, ive come to the conclusion that the dents are far to deep to knock out, one of the dents even goes out and not in, i think someone has tried to get this dent out before, and gone a bit to heavy handed with a hammer. i think my only option left to me is to fill all the dents with car filler and then sand down so its smooth, then getting it flocked, at least then the profile of the cone in theory should look dent free, has anyone any other ideas on what to do with a knackered nose cone....keep it clean please he he he

I think if your going to flock the nose cone then why not flock the base as well - that would be fantastic.

I think flocked would be nicer than a pock marked original chrome (as long as the base macthed).
