yes i agree but to post overseas cost a lot of money and i think this would put of buyers
They're wasting their time selling them for £799 and no 'Best Offer'.  There'll be no takers and they have simply wasted everyone's time!  The annoying thing is, they re-list them at the same price or even more!
Yea that is annoying - you just see the same lamp keep popping up all the time. Its not just with Luners there is a yellow jet going for about 60 odd quid which has been sitting on Ebay for ages lol.

I can understand why sellers of luners say pickup only - there is always a risk of it getting damaged in the post and even if they say they take no responsablitie for it I wouldn't want to see a luner I was selling get trashed in the post.

good point also glass is not insured through the post as i had the misfortune to have a lunar vase smash in the post, all they would refund was the postage cost and not what the lamp sold for

Been there and done that - I got a absolute bargin of a Astro of Ebay for 99p only to get it with it being baged as the package was leeking - it was a mess.

thats my favorite so i dont think you got much chance, but if ever i do you can have first dibs on it

I have been after a good Lunar for some time. Seen all the silly priced one's on ebay being re-listed over and over again.

Finally think I have brought my self a good one at a decent price. And to cap it all although the location is Southampton and I live in Birmingham the seller has relatives up this way and has agreed to be met en-route when he comes up to visit them just waiting to hear from him as to when this will be.

I saw a gold glitter luner bottle on ebay at some time, if you contact mathmos then you may be able to get hold of some empty bottles.

Somone on hear did use large empty wisky bottles as luner bottles as aparently they are the same size.

Hi Tim, did ask the question on here about using the large empty whisky bottles but got mixed reviews. Due to the fact that the Lunar bottles are probably tempered to take the heat of the bulb, and the whisky ones are probably not. Did phone Mathmos but they seemed reluctant to sell me an empty one. Perhaps if I offer to buy their violet/red one that they currently offer for sale they might sell me one or two. I have two  glitter Grande bottles and would like to use one to make a glitter Lunar bottle, having just brought my first Lunar.
