postage costs to the usa

hi guys

i have just weighed and priced a lunar base and cap to be posted to the usa, and the cost is shockingly high, the weight is 4.5kg sending it global priority by royal mail which is tracked and takes one day, but only comes with £200 compensation for loss or damage, and the cost..........£89.00 i think this is why uk sellers dont offer international postage when it comes to lunars. unless any of you know of a cheaper option
