Overpriced lamps on eBay!

Any lamp is fair game now, not just the beatles and harley lamps. This thread has grown far beyond my expectations! 0.0

I really dont understand why these are always listed for ridiculous amounts. I see them all the time for $100 buy it now. I have a harley lamp and I want to sell it because I dont like it. Someone locally tried to sell me a beatles lamp for $100. Are these people nuts? Why do they all seem to list them for stupidly high prices?

Anyways I thought it would be fun to see who can find the most over priced harley davidson or beatles submarine lamp.

I am setting the bar really high.

I'm not picking on anyone, but this is the kind of comment that gives oozing goo a bad name.
I.E. "those lava lamp people on oozing goo" comment I've heard so many times.

 

I know these sellers can sometimes be ridiculous and unfair with their pricing structure.
It's thier choice to list and not get a sale and our choice to warn people by showing class, proper information and value.

 

Posting an alternate viewpoint and link is helpful to all, seller, buyer and occasional browser.

Keep it accuarate and with a presentation that you want to be available on the internet for a very long time.

Many posts I've done back in the early 90s in other areas are still available in search engines,

Keep in mind some comments may be visible for many years to come.
They also may be visible to a younger age group then we realize.

In respect, Nice unemotional factual comment on the presentation of alternate product at a fair respectable price.

It's funny and I laughed for a moment, but the comment is also fodder for a seller to come back with a nasty comment. I've seen it all too often.

Just think at what someone's rebuttal to that comment would probably be.

I am sure his response would be bold and ballsy... just like the asking price of the lamp itself...lol

funny because if he didn't seem so completely oblivious to what he is selling I would of sent him a sweet note inviting him here where he could utilize our lava library as a tool ..but I soooo did not want to encourage this person to seek out and sell any more lamps..

dont you just love how the seller also lists it as Vintage  !!!
