My Mathmos Astrobaby lamp has a lot of bubbles in it. Not air bubbles, but wax bubbles. The little bubbles never merge back into the wax pool? Any help? Or is the lamp already ruined?

Smaller lava bubbles tend to form if the lamp has been on for a while and could be getting too hot. It is not always advisable to run a lamp for more than 6 hours at a time although some lamps are unaffected buy long periods of usage.
Opening the cap on a Mathmos lamp isn't much of a issue and it can be reused easily.
Is the problem when the lamp is running or when the wax is solid.

Don't want to open the cap though...
When the lamp is off, there is nothing. But when the wax is melted, the bubbles are here in about 30 minutes.
PS: Not those 'too hot' bubbles, but very very small wax bubbles.
Intresting - can you post a picture of it so we can see if we can sort it out
This doesnt apply.
Post a photo, some of these little blobs are normal.
