Great find today!!!!!

Hey Everyone!

Had rather a nice treat today!

Decided to go to Huddersfield with my boyfriend for a shopping trip!

Was ready to come home and we called in to Cash Exchange to see what they had in :)

As we was leaving the store my boyfriend noticed a Lava Lamp in the window.

Was quite shocked to see it was a Mathmos Fluidium Yellow in mint condition!

Went into the store..... Ok more like darted in to the store to find out the price!

But there was another guy asking about the lamp....... some rather dumb questions but still lol.

I quickly got a sales person and asked the price.......... £3.20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well needless to say it was instantly mine, I think the other guy was furious I bought it from under him lol.

Got it home and set it up and noticed it has a 30W R39 Bulb which I only intend to use tonight as I will go buy a E14 40W tomorrow!

So happy with this deal!!!! wooooop

What a result - well done, I could imaging the other guy would be pised but if your asking stupid questions and not really getting anywhere then that's what ends up happening.
That would easily go for about 70 dollars more if it were on Ebay.

Is the lamp in good shape?

Just been informed that it's a first edition from 2000 as it has a Circle at the bottom of the bottle above the Mathmos Logo that says "Designed by Ross Lovegrove"
