Expensive Cardboard box!

Crazy price! I guess it's because of the original box.

It's damn expensive for a box in cardboard...

For some collectors the original box makes it even more collectable -

- did you all notice something strange?

 The box didn't call it "Cosmos" but described it as a "Nordic"???

... although it was the model with the round base with the bottle on a pedestal

I would have paid £350 for it if I had the funds, its a very rare model and can only appreciate in value. The buyer has got nice little investment. I bet the seller could'nt belive his luck, so everyone is happy. it would be nice if someone here got it.

Its also a UK model

... the pedastal has been soldered not screwed into the base (like the European model)

What a strange coincidence.

Same two guys who pushed prices up far more than usual on the market.

I'm not saying this is not legit, but this is curious.

These bidders do the same thing here with lamps on eBay US. I know both of their usernames and they've been in a bidding war for quite some time now. Good luck getting anything rare - these two have deep pockets.
