This Cosmos just sold £350 !!!
Crazy price! I guess it's because of the original box.
It's damn expensive for a box in cardboard...

That doesn't even include the bottle!!! Craziness.
Wow!
For some collectors the original box makes it even more collectable -
- did you all notice something strange?
The box didn't call it "Cosmos" but described it as a "Nordic"???
... although it was the model with the round base with the bottle on a pedestal
I would have paid £350 for it if I had the funds, its a very rare model and can only appreciate in value. The buyer has got nice little investment. I bet the seller could'nt belive his luck, so everyone is happy. it would be nice if someone here got it.
I thought the same about the box though Tim !
Edit...Simon not Tim !!!

Its also a UK model
... the pedastal has been soldered not screwed into the base (like the European model)
... so I've been reliably told.
Have to agree!!
Plenty of people with money ...
... an ordinary Lunar sold for £1200 today!
£1200 for a Lunar? 8-o]
I hope it is in massive gold.
(any link to this Lunar?)
Can't find it!
It was on Ebay UK (from a Danish Seller)
& was in reasonable condition with a used red wax-clear bottle.
TOTALLY uninspiring ;o(
Yes! I remember this one from Denmark:

£1270 for a regular Lunar? come on!
You know what? Something is strange on these 2 auctions...
Check the 2 best bidders from both auctions.
Yes they are the same ones :-)
n***e and o***l
What a strange coincidence.
Same two guys who pushed prices up far more than usual on the market.
I'm not saying this is not legit, but this is curious.
Maybe two rich friends... or two rich enemies :-)
These bidders do the same thing here with lamps on eBay US. I know both of their usernames and they've been in a bidding war for quite some time now. Good luck getting anything rare - these two have deep pockets.
....and one of them is a member here.
