Hi,
I'm sure everybody here encountered this problem:
You found a lamp you want, the price is cheap (or a least correct), but you don't want to buy it because the seller is such a tool.
-I know a Fluidium Grande I can pick-up few miles from my place, just for 30 eur.
I was ready to collect it, but when the seller started to be very rude after I asked him a picture of the lamp flowing, I gave up.
How do you feel when it happens? Are you sorry for the lamp? or is it more: this jerk won't get my money?

Foranlty I haven't had this - the people I have dealt with are fine, get there swap cash for lamp - job done, there is a fellow collector I have brought from and this has been good.
It really comes down to how badly you want the lamp - i.e. is it worth the nusence seller and how bad is the seller. Is he just getting annoyed as you asked for a picture or is it more - if its more then someone just being annoyed for having to take a picture of it then no big deal but if he is really offencive then it might not be worth it.
The only issue I have had is with a seller who refused to respond to my queries. I even had Gwen send an email as if she were a ditzy college chick and the seller still wouldn't respond. Was a local classified ad, 30 minutes from my house and I told the guy I could be there in that amount of time with cash in hand. Didn't try to haggle.
Meanwhile, even though I offered what he wanted, he continued to post his goodies, but kept dropping the prices. A real head scratcher.
This was the kind of rude guy.
All I asked was a picture of the lamp running, and he went so unpleasent, so maybe he had something to hide.
To be honest, I even asked a friend to call him for me to buy the lamp anyway.
My friend called me back and says to me: you're right this guy is an as**ol*.
So I guess he will keep is lamp forever. Too bad, a Yellow Clear Fluidium Grande at 30eur... hum!
There is a seller on eBay I won't buy from, no matter what, because I don't like them. Every now and again, I see a cool lamp for sale from them, but then go "oh shit" when I realize who the seller is.
I had a local antique dealer with a clear/blue midnight who wanted too much for it. I offered him less but he was so rude about it even after he said yes I said, well let me think about it. Told him if I decided I wanted it I'd be back before he closed at 5. After cooling off I went back but he had closed early. I went back the next day but he said he decided he didn't want to sell it. What a d***. I won't go back in there...ever.
I found a great TV lamp at the flea market. I didn't have enough cash so I told the seller to hold it for ten minutes, I was just going to run to the ATM and be right back. When I returned she was in the process of selling it to someone else. Now when I see her not only will I not buy from her, I have to resist the very strong urge to kick her table over.
Oh this happened to me with a craiglist find. The guy had 3 - 32oz lamps for $20, I asked him if he could meet me at the public mall and he like freaked and thought it was insane that he'd have to go anywhere. I was like really? you fin' lazy douche lol It just wasn't worth the trouble and this guys attitude.
