17'' Rainbow Lava Lamp Found in Washington State

On a whim stopped by one of my local Spencer's that has been low on lamps for awhile and saw they had rainbows on the shelf. I brought one home mostly as a curiosity, I think it's an interesting lamp and as long as it flows good I'll overlook the base design. 

Fluid seems clear and the glass quality seems to have improved. There were a few flakes to be had floating around but nothing major. 

Warming it up now, crossing my fingers for a decent flow.

Let us know how it flows and post some pics. I came across one and I left it up to my wife to see if she wanted it. She had to pass. Our origional purchase of the first rainbow lamps didn't go so well.

Yes - a review and pics please.  I sorta hate the base, but I'm thinking the globe may look killer on a princess base.

They don't have them on their website. I'm going to get one if the Spencer in Omaha has one. Did you have to open them at the store to check for cloudiness?

I was going to make a trip to Omaha yesterday if the Lincoln store didn't have any. I called ahead and was told they just got a new shipment of Rainbows in and had plenty. When I arrived all they had was the display and sold it to me at a discount. Thankfully it was only run a few days since the rest of their display lamps looked like crap from running too long. Mine is sitting on a white Marble base for now and plan to put a less "busy" globe on the Rainbow base.

I also bought the Neons and they opened them for me to check for cloudiness.

I'd love to see some pics of these as they are or swapped with other bases. I saw them at a local Spencer's that has no Lavas out for display.

Picked one up yesterday. Spencers had 2 of them. Nice and clear. I like it. They didn't have any neons.

I bought mine this week and I love it! I'm not crazy about the base though so I'll be switching it out.

I just bought one, Spencers had 3 in stock and one on display. They have been there for a long time, maybe a couple weeks? Nobody in Prescott seems to be anxious to go out and get their hands on these except for me haha. Anyways, I love it, I actually really like the base. I didn't think I would, but it looks alot better in person. The flow is not super fantastic, but it is a gigantic improvement. Also, I am a huge fan of the color changing.
