Horrible strain upon the nerves, eh, Kirk? LOL And I have not learned what is "good" and what is "not good" on ebay yet, except for a few lamps I recognize.......Blech....

sometimes i run them for 6 hours a day or so, and sometimes i run them all day and night. it just depends on my mood. if i notice signs of overheating, i'll shut it off. i figure that as long as i average 6-8 hours a day over the month, i'm good.
I just turned off 3 of 5 I had runnin........Drat again. Maybe I should just wait till dark to turn them on, and run them till bedtime. Or BUY MORE lamps......LOL
I like mine (a whole room is devoted, and I mean devoted, to them) in the dark best with a glass of scotch! Just need to remember to stay off Ebay during this time. I have been know to make a few miscalculations and then strange lamps appear at the post office for me. Ha!
Not me, man! My lamps can rest when they're DEAD!
It's better to burn out, than f a d e a w a y...
lol @ Kirk
I have the exact same problem...only, totally different. Heh...!
LOL, Jus, I just turned mine back ON after you said that!!!! And Kirk, I don't have room for too very many lamps, let alone an entire room, but strange packages are turning up in my mail too. And I know I paid "way" too much for one of them, but I wanted it...... I also need more glitter Wizards in every color. HELP. I need BLUE and white/silver (whatever color that is). Good thing hubby just got a few of his "collectables" yesterday. Now I can get away with a few more.
Libby - I know the addiction well. I've got several lamps that I also paid too much for and several that I have more than one of -- I'm proof that white/blue midnights were popular in the 1990s. I have 4 of them. LOL. I'd honestly like to help you, but something tells me we aren't good for each other. And I know what you mean about your hubby getting his, so now you get to get yours. Good luck on your glitter Wizards. I now have a red glitter Blip, and just won a blue glitter Midnight Wizard for $16.48 ($12.64 shipping). Thought that was a buy!
Jus - I sometimes run my lamps longer than I said I did. :>P
KIRK----why are we not good for each other??? Do I have leprosy or something? LOL I only want "one" blue glitter Wizard and "one" white or silver glitter Wizard, and don't care what the base color is. I have stayed on ebay till I am falling over from lack of sleep, then here you come up with a Blue for a killer price? I might not be too good at searching on ebay.....Drat. I think I am addicted......I KNOW I am addicted. Lord have Mercy!
P. S. I wanted a "Blip" too, but can't find one. I didn't know they made them in glitter too....Oh no......
Libby - please be careful, lest you too have 110+ lamps in 4 months. <grin> My better half is encouraged that I've pulled 15 lamps to sell and setup the Ebay table in the garage, but I haven't listed a single one yet. <grin><grin> Seriously, hang in there. You will get the deal when you least expect it. I search Ebay for new listings on lava, glitter, and fiber optic lamps at least 10 times a day. Persistence pays.
