I was checking out the Belgium eBay and ran across this large lamp. Never saw one like this. Out of my price range and looks like it didn't sell so it's probably relisted. It's pretty sweet.

Nah...I'll leave it for someone with deeper pockets ;)
OM Gosh, Debs, I love it, but what the heck? I can't even read about it and have no idea what that price is. I don't do Euros. LOL
See why I stay on Ebay US? :-)
If you use the Google Chrome browser there is a translate option to English. :)
I know, Deb, but I'm almost afraid to look, and it wouldn't help with reading the description......LOL
DUH, I meant the Euro converter was on Google.......you meant that there was a translate option on foreign Ebay sites? I didn't know that......hmmmmm

Yep, if you're using Google Chrome as your browser, it can automatically translate sites for you. There's usually a toolbar up at the top of the web page asking if you want Google to translate the page for you.
However, I've noticed it often doesn't/can't translate the body of eBay listings for some reason.
Here's the translation:
object:
Lava floor lamp.
Design and manufacturer:
Unknown.
Description and Condition:
Gigantic lava lamp with 69cm height.
Fully functional. Great light object from the 60s or 70s. Aluminum base and cover.
Good original condition. Minor dents on the Aluminium covering.
Under my description they can convince to 19 images on the conservation status and any defects or signs of wear.
No parcel!
You are welcome to contact me by phone 0174-1812113 before buying
Viewing by appointment possible.
International bidders are welcome.

OMG I thought that was a miniature chair...but that's a GIANT LAMP! Awesome!
Looks like 69cm = 2.2 feet tall. Nice!
At $1469 plus post, I'm gonna pass. ;)
Thank you for converting Euros for me, Erin........I'll pass too! EEKKKK But I do love the looks of that lamp!
Deb, I'm going to pop a picture in your original post... as some day, this link will be dead. Hope you don't mind.
Is that looking more like un-sparkly glitter instead of lava? I take it someone put these pictures in the files?
No problemo, thanks :)
