I searched thru amazon and I found the other 2 and I did find this bad boy. I recently sold just the base and cap only on ebay for $54.00. I'm sure the globe is shot but the base alone is really nice for $25

I really like that base and cap, Doc......I'm sure you're right about the globe being toast, but love the bats!!   Great Halloween lamp.

Sadly, that's the one thing that really bothers me about the design. I tend to have my lamps connected to some kind of external switch, so the one in the base would just be redundant. Aside from that, this lamp looks great. I just want a 52 oz version (which I did see on Amazon in other colors) in neon blue.

I agree.  I'd love to see Neon Blue in a 52 oz.   That switch bothers me too, looks good, but what if something happens to it?  It's easy to change an inline switch, but this one?

I ordered the purple one from amazon.com, but it hasn't shipped and won't for awhile.

"Issue" is not the word, Critter.  It's complete mush.  I "think" there is white goo under that orange liquid, but can't see it to tell, it might be emulsified.  No problem, I had an extra green/white globe I put on it and it rocks!!   Not just for Halloween!   I love bats.......  :-)   Doc was right, it was worth it for just the base and cap.  The cap sits a bit off center, which kicks my OCD in high gear, but I still like it.   I'll come up with a "fix" for that too.

That seller has had a bunch of those over that past 6+ months I think they had an issue with cloudy globes. But yeah that is a neat resin base......halloween only though!
