Yeah that's true, I hope that they step up the quality for these regardless of where they're made, if the quality is good I will definitely buy one or five...

Normally, I'd say no, but in this case, yes. It's their "heritage" line. There heritage is here in the US. To have them made in China, with that name (heritage) is embarrassing. It's laughable, really. Yes, I'll buy one or two (if the quality is good), but I just can't believe their HERITAGE lamps will be made in China!

does it really matter as long as they are good? ;)

Yeah I think if these were US made we would have definitely heard about that by now since they're coming out in 2 weeks, they should already be arriving from china at this point. It is rather hard to digest the fact that the "heritage" line isn't made in the USA, kind of like if mathmos' would've had their 50 year anniversary lamps made in Taiwan. Maybe they should've named this series of lamps something else since they knew they weren't gonna be USA made. But maybe at least they have a major quality increase in these lamps, I would like to see better quality glass and longer lasting formula. We'll see, fingers crossed
Lol, that's quite hilarious when you put it that way. I guess you're totally right in that sense. I wish they would've been USA made, and with USA-like flow... They should've just called them "retro" style or something instead..

i asked about the colossus, and susan said they are "talking about doing a special run of the colossus in late 2014," which will be a lead into their 50th anniversary.  if you are interested, contact susan and she will keep your information on-file until that time.  those on the list will receive a special pre-order flyer.  sweet!!

On the Home Site, on the bottom right you can see the Colossus and a text "Not available online, Please call us."

I think the heritage line is on its way in a chinese container and will arrive in october :)

While I am excited they're bringing back the Century (hopefully with the pinholes and shiny base), I am still upset they ignore their '90s line.  I have said this a million times, but why can't they re-introduce the 32oz Midnight lava lite?  That was their all time BEST SELLER!  ):  ):  ):

I do hope the new Century is just like the '90s/early 2000's century.

whats the email addy???

Yes, it is important to be on the email list if you are unsure that you are on the list email Susan Michaels soon and get on her list!!

So does anyone know what size our chinese heritage lamps will be?........chinese heritage lamps seems to sound a little weird. I noticed on lava lites new site that they appeared to use a blank image of the grande size lamp in the coming soon potion thats displayed. So does anyone know if they will be grande lamps or smaller?
I believe the heritage will be 52oz century lamps made in china.

Agreed

thinking of ordering a grande... are they still having clouding issues?  anyone buy one lately?

I would hold off a few weeks if I were you. They may release a new grande.
