Those Centuries do look gold, not copper, and I am totally upset.   I only got that yellow/red color globe to get a COPPER base as indicated.  Has no one ever heard of "proof reading??"   Good Grief.

It's gettin worse Keith, and I'm already in a "black mood" today.  Now the "COPPER" Centuries are GOLD and I only got that yellow/red, a color I do not like, just to get the copper base.........the "Ghost" is about to get on a major roll.........

Looks like they made the bases just like on the original, lacquer over a "silver" base.  While this is indeed a heritage color it is hardly Copper.  It is a misleading name, not great marketing - again!

Heres a pic of them all running except the grandes (which I'm working on) They look like they are running a little hot but its a good thing they all have those inline dimmers. She said that room has tons of lamps running in it so it gets hot in there.

Hopefully you will enjoy the lamp as it is, but expecting one thing and getting another is definitely disappointing.

I too thought it was copper, however I like what they look like on pictures. I'll have to wait and see in person when I get mine, also got a pink grande so really would love pics on those.

I "talked" to Susan, Crit, and there was no mention that my "Copper" was not copper.   I did think it looked like a very light copper or even gold, and should have said something.   But when my order was read back to me, it was read back as a Copper Century, not gold.   I don't even want to think about the Grandes.   I only have that one I got off Craigslist that was junk, and was so looking forward to having a large lamp that "worked."    I hope they flow well.    I should have just stuck with gettin the blue/white Century with Silver base and my red Wizard.   I would have had I known about the "not" copper beforehand.

Since their shipping department isn't shipping out orders yet I'm sure you can call Susan and cancel or change that "copper" century for a blue white one..

I noticed that when I zoomed in on that photo of them running, that the "LAVA" logo is uneven on some of the bases.
