Oh heck, Autumn, that is horrible!! And I have a Pink on the way........oh dear. I'm so sorry yours arrived in that crappy shape!
Damn thats really bad! Im sure you can get it replaced though. Do you have the green one? I love my pink grande and im so glad it showed up in good shape. Goodluck to you too libby!
Thank you, Rodrigo!! But Autumn already went through it with Fed Ex after they completely messed up on the delivery a few days ago. She had to wait to today to even get THAT. I wonder if they played football with it, or it came from LL like that? OUCH
Yours looks that bad too, Blob? OM Gosh......so sorry.

Looks just like my pink Grande.
Im willing to bet it left crystal clear and got cloudy in FedEx's possesion... All of ours have arrived fine except for this one and The Blob's i think are the only two that arent good.

This is what I don't get. How can they cloud in shipping, but not when being run? It doesn't make any sense.
I'm so sorry Autumn. :(
I know, it makes no sense but i guess it has to do with the violent shaking... A few times when i was trying to empty 32-52oz globes the wax cork would flip over when pouring, so i would attempt to swirl the globe to get the wax cork to settle back down in its place but it would just splash around in a little bit of fluid. That little bit always got immediately cloudy and i just had to pour it out..
One thing i noticed about the new grandes: The pink globe is now sitting on a silver base and the P/y globe on the heritage base. The silver base warmed up the pink grande globe way faster than the heritage base. And the P/Y globe which usually flows by 5-6 hours and could be dimmed is still spiking on the heritage grande base, after 5 hours and 15 min. Maybe the bulbs are weaker, or the dimmer isnt going full power, or the bulb is just further from the globe? Im gonna try swapping bulbs and keeping the globes on respective bases tomorrow.
See, that still doesn't make sense to me. If anything, you'd think it would cloud during use - all that stuff heating up and moving around.
In my case, FedEx left it laying on its side, ignoring the 'this side up' with arrows, and if this is how they are in transit, the water sloshing back and forth inside can cause some residue from the wax to mix with the water. Plus, mine has some kind of powdery white stuff on the wax which I'm sure contributed to it clouding up.

That just really sucks. :( I'm so sorry. Everyone deserves a good lamp. :(
