Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

What can be used to supplement the surficant content of an existing lava?

From things I've been reading and how my old Century flows, it appears to me that it is perhaps lacking surficant content.  What can be used to gently increase the surficant content of the fluid?

What she said.

Also if you have already started a discussion that has details of the problem you can include the address for reference;

I'll post some pics and follow up questions in my other thread later tonight or tomorrow.  Real quick though, the problem is it typically has a large column of goo from top to bottom which is attached to the top of the fluid.  As I understand it, this may be due to a lack of surficant.  Anyway, I'll follow up with this in my other more all-encompassing thread.
