Here is my boy Floyd who i rescued after my other cat passed away. Hes a mix of a GQ model and Baby Huey, just a big dumb animal lol.

That is a wonderful pic, Keith!!   I'll ask hubby, he is wild with names for canine babies!!   He does like old mountain "human" names though.  ROFLOL   You might want to stick with Pixie.

Double names are good, but Lord help you when you hear all three!!

Yep, I know exactly what you mean.   We took off like bats out of hades when we heard all three names!   ;-)   And usually for very good reason!   I was an innocent lamb though.........ha.

Pixie is great if its a female dog.  I would go "Killer" if its a male.  

I would avoid Mabel Joy.  I don't know where I heard it, but I had thought you were supposed to avoid more than two syllables for your pup's comprehension-sake.  Of course that could be the formal name, with simply Mabel as the every day name.

I have always liked Maggie (as in Maggie May).  Would give you an opportunity to constantly sing a phenomenal song whenever you want to call out to and cuddle the dog.  "Maggie... I think I got something to say to you"

"Pixie" has been overruled. Mabel Joy, or any other human name is a non-starter. Might be a week before we settle on a name, lol
