Grande Lava Lamp

So, I'm considering buying a Grande Lamp from Direct Glow off of Ebay for $120. As I live in Vancouver, CA, I can have it shipped for free to Point Roberts, just across the US Border. The receiving fee is under $10. 

Has anyone had any experiences with either Direct Glow, using the Point Roberts WA TSB shipping, or with Grande Lamps in general that they would like to share? Any favourite colour combos?

I think you can get them for cheaper, but it may be different because you live in Canada.

is it new or used?  for essentially $130, that's not a bad deal if it's new.  does lava lite ship to canada?  if so they have some lamps for $100, but shipping would probably be half of that or more.

It's new. Lava Lite directed me to Direct Glow.

ah, ok.  i don't have any experience with them, but i would just make sure their return policy includes free shipping back to them or a replacement lamp sent to you in case it arrives cloudy.

I do not know the return policy, but amazon has several sellers. They all charge below 100 including shipping. They also have it on prime.
