My latest Craigslist findL Midnight red glitter

Man Craigslist is continuing to pay off for me.  I found a very nice Midnight red glitter for $5.  I was surprised by how quickly the glitter starts moving.  During shipping the globe was on its side and a good deal of the glitter is stuck to the glass.  Will this loosen up when the lamp warms up?  I'm interested to see how much it flows when fully warm.  The glitter to fluid ratio seems pretty low but it is my first glitter and I've been looking for a while now.  Scored a red, just what I wanted and it looks great on the Midnight base which was almost my first choice.  Only thing better would be a Wizard base but those seem hard to find at reasonable prices.

I really need to pick nicer spot to take photos!  This is my hobby work bench and is where I always run my new lamps when they first come in!

Is this normal glitter lamp behavior?  When I went to turn on my new glitter tonight all the glitter was wadded up at the top of the globe.  I turned it over once and the glitter dispersed and seems to be flowing okay now but it sure looked unhappy to start with.

My Lava glitter seems to kind of hang out throughout the fluid when cold but the Large holo glitter of mine all floats to the top when cold and the convection ends up pulling it down and swirling it around after about an hour and a half.
