WHAT IS LAVA LITE DOING????

So I posted a while ago (quite a few weeks) that there was gunk in my son's 52 oz Neon green coil. I posted pics up also. I emailed LL and they said to send them a copy of my receipt and pics and some other info about the lamp and they would send me a replacement globe. So today a FedEx truck pulls in front of my house and it's a tall box from LL. I open it up and not only is it NOT just a 52 oz Neon green replacement globe, but a WHOLE lamp!!!! It's a Premier Silver purple/yellow 52 oz!!! COMPLETE!!! HUH???? I never even got a reply email, shipping confirmation, nothing!!!

Can't wait to get home and fire this puppy up tonite!!! Son's not going to be happy, but mom doesn't have a purple, especially since my goo kit purple didn't come out the way I wanted it to so I made it Little Boy Blue!!

Yeah it is great that they do that. I asked them for extra coils for my heritage grande's, and they just sent me 2 more complete heritage grandes! Can't wait to see some pictures of your new lamp.

I'm holding off I think on my grande Rick. I really do not have the room for one honestly!!! My house is small and I have a lot of 52 oz'ers willy nilly around the house from all of my goo-kits. Also, I had a guy install a stereo and for some creepy reason he got rid of one of my electrical receptacles on the one side of my living room. So where I MIGHT have the room, there is no electric there. I have to grab my neighbor when he isn't busy to put one back in. Another fear of mine of LL's quality on these things. I'm not sure I'm digging the flow in my new lamp. I'm giving it a chance because last nite was the first run, but it just kind of does the round balls floating around flow. I hate that more then any other issue with LL lamps. That is one of my pet peeves. I'm too spoiled with the goo kit flow now. Some say the goo kits's resemble a mathmos fluey flow, or just a mathmos flow in general. Also, my globe has 2 pretty nice nicks in the bottom of it!!! This is a brand new lamp shipped properly, so you know that comes from mishandling when it was being made.

If I do ever get a Grande, it will most likely be for the globe and base and I will goo kit it. I have to wait for more money to come in though. Right now my husband is laid off from his seasonal job and xmas is coming so......
