Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I am just going to rant about how amazing USA 32oz lamps are when they are not ruined.
So I own one 32oz lava lamp that truly does not over heat. I have many 32oz lamps, however all of them overheat after being on for more than 4 hours. Some overheat more than others, but it's a common thing that happened to all of them. Except for one. My emerald green midnight does not come close to overheating. It heats up in about an hour, where it starts stretchy oozy flow, and that's how it stays. You can see the liquid ride a good half an inch after that first hour, so obviously it's getting just as hot as my other ones (also I've switched the bases to see if maybe it's just the base, and it's not) and it just keeps that stretchy flow. It will all form one column, then break apart, and it's just amazing. In my entire life, I have never seen a 32oz flow like that. All of them seem to overheat past a certain point. And that is why this is my favorite 32oz. The color is also quite amazing.
Anyways... Rant over :)

These pics are after it being on all day and all night. Yes, it does have a brand new 40 watt bulb.

Cool!
