The new Blue/Blue lunar bottle is awful-so dark the wax almost disappears into the liquid when melted! Way darker than any other Blue/Blue bottle they have made before. I know they were in a rush to get them out but this is pants.

Can you sun fade it?  I know the LL lamps fade pretty quick if you leave them even in a bright room!!  Still for the money you shouldn't have to do that....

I thought about buying this bottle in the event I may

score a base/cap in the future or do a custom base

maybe using a spare Giant hardware.

Now that the report is the liquid is too dark, I may pass...

that's a shame.  it's very dark.  my blue/blue is similar to the fluidium you posted, kaia.

Sadly my lunar blue/blue which is also really dark and stops flowing after about an hour. Not impressed.

Perhaps the 100 watt bulb is too much. It does say 75 watt max. I will use the dimmer to cool it down a little and see how the flow goes.

Glad it's not only me! I got in touch with Mathmos about mine, and was made to feel like I was complaining for nothing. Now I know it's a common problem, I'll be back in touch with them. Not happy with mine either.

Yes, and why blue/blue? There are so many other interesting colouways they could have chosen.

Well, I just switched my lunar blue/blue on about half an hour ago and it is spiking nicely. Fingers crossed for a decent flow. Hope it flows for longer this time now I've not got the bulb too high.
