Looks like a Mathmos lunar, and maybe you just received shipment of it? If so, and the contents of the globe are original, it should clear up with regular use, but it may take a while. That would be what I would do. Try to run it daily, but let it settle for a couple of days first. Or if you want to set it on a timer to cycle when you are away from home you can do that too. The timer can be set so the lamp is on during your preferred viewing time.
Of course if you want to purchase another globe you can do that too, then cycle this globe when you have opportunity.

If that coil is stainless steel it might work.
Are you positive the globe doesn't have a coil? They can be hard to see sometimes.
Has the lamp been converted to use U.S. electrical? Or are you using a transformer? The U.K. and Germany use a 220 volt service, the U.S. uses 110 volt. If the lamp has its original wiring and bulb it won't get hot enough with our electrical system.

Good morning Keith,
How is your weekend? i am doing good. I would like the ask do you know where i buy Light Bulb 110V or 120 V -100w online? because i will rewire the lamp Mammos lunar lava lamp ,I live In USA , you know any website to sell it? what time of light bulb ?Thank you very much
Best regarding

Hi Peter!
I don't know how much room is in the Lunar base for a bulb. I think they use a 100 watt reflector bulb so a Grande bulb may work. You need about 1/4 of an inch clearance between the bulb and the globe. Closer than 1/8 inch you risk breaking the globe, too far and you will have problems getting enough heat for good flow.
You will probably have to experiment to get the spacing right

Good morning Keith,
I turn on the lamp for all day but i don't know why lava not moving at all..? may be the wax in luna lava lamp too old?
Talk about the lightbulb i use 120V Halogen bulb/ Reflector - ( you can see the pics i post) i measure from the top of the light bulb to the bottom of the globe about 02 inches and half inside the base of lunar lava lamp..You have any idea- suggestion>?
Thank you very much
