Can someone tell me what this color combo is please?

I just purchased this lamp from Ebay and there is no number printed on the bottle cap. I provided pictures of the lamp. Can anyone give me some more info in it please?

Looks like a faded blue/white (#3). It's not uncommon to find one faded to this color.

I was thrown off because there are no numbers stamped on the cap. Is this also common?

Caps with no ink or badly smeared and unreadable ink do happen. Occasionally they don't even have the white and red lava branding and are just plain brass colored with date stamping. Now....keep in mind that this is the USA made bottles from pre-2003 that I'm talking about. The current China made stuff is altogether different in the way their caps look.

Hey, you may have one there, it is not marked and it is clear and white. Even if it is a faded blue and white if the blue is completely faded away then for all intents and purposes it is then a clear and white globe and it would look no different. Enjoy it like it is or dye the fluid blue or some other color it will be a good lamp. White wax lamps are my favorites especially when the fluid is a nice bright color like red or orange or pink or purple, etc.
