Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I saw this product, Molotow liquid chrome marker, and was wondering if anyone has experimented with it.  It might be better than silver sharpies, or it might be a flop!

I'm not inclined to experiment with it right now so I don't have the answer

I see that metallic lava is under investigation again.. I've tried mica powders & oil based inks and neither stick in the wax. I've only had temporary success with silver sharpie ink. and by temporary I mean a couple years. This was the beast that took over 50 markers get that look http://oozinggoo.ning.com/photo/metallic-grande-1?context=user . Now (I took the lamp apart) but the wax is just gray and kind of hosed. The mica powders tend to sink/settle to the bottom after some time, like a day or 2 of running and get stuck the coil. The only thing I haven't tried yet aluminum powder for makeup/cosmetics. Not sure if the powders made for "art" projects is different then powder for makeup but it may be worth a try.
