Did i overpay for this lamp ? First vintage lamp for me

I just bought this lamp on ebay

Its from 1977, water seems low but ill just add a little distilled water, the flow looks good, and it seems clear..  What do you guys think ?  I paid $77 for it. I think its a 52 OZ bottle too

They claim its 77 anyway from the sticker in the cap..  The blue sticker in the base is square so it has to be 70s at least

Yes it's a 52 ounce Century.  It looks good in the picture.  The fluid level is just right and doesn't need added to.  I don't know if it's overpriced or not.  It's not way overpriced anyway, and if you're comfortable with the cost that's what matters most.

So you dont think it needs more liquid ? It seems a tad low ?  Why do some of these star light lamps have black plastic on the bottom and others dont ?  Whats the difference ?  Am i correct in assuming a blue sticker thats a square is 70s and blue sticker that round is 80-90s inside the base ?

I don't know why some have the plastic and some don't.  Also on the blue stickers, I've never really paid any attention to that.  But on the liquid level it's okay as it is, but if it bugs you then you could add distilled water.  The thing is though that the flow might be ruined.  Maybe I'm just used to my vintage lamps being at that level.
