I agree.....When I went to use mine I wanted some of the black/white also. Or even some red/clear. What the store had (entire inventory mind you) was 4 yellow/purple 52s. That was IT! So after buying 2 lamps I can now say that I reduced their store's inventory of lamps by half.....
Yes, Lava World or Spencers or whoever needs to get their poo in a pile!

I agree....the Lava World lava has really gone to hell. I have a white/blue and you can hardly tell that the lava is flowing, 'cause it's clear! Pretty weird looking actually. I dunno how much worse their quality can go. I've bought 6 new lamps in the past month and all but one (it was made in '07) were crap. My Spencers said that they will get a new shipment next week and I'm gonna use the coupon to buy some more junk....uh lamps....maybe they will be better. Keep your fingers crossed!

Depending on the Spencer's you take it to, you might not be able to use it if you don't have an Underground card. It really depends on how well the staff follow rules, though.

Well, I went and picked up a clear/red and a clear/black. The clear/black was the floor model and I got it because it was the only one that had the white base and cap. The water is gray and the wax looks washed out. Not sure if I can swap out the globe or not.

The clear/red I just opened to look at. It too is cloudy. Hmm.
