MATHMOS GREEN FLUIDIUM UNBOXING NEVER SINCE 2000

Hello to all the Mathmos fans, I wanted to share what I received today. 2 Mathmos Fluidium never opened since their launch in 2000.

I was shivering while opening the parcel, bubble wrap and then ..... The different pieces of the Fluidium

You can imagine that feeling right ?

It's not like opening a collector one alreaday used before, It was never opened, never used before me ... 19 years after they come alive.

Yesterday was the OPAL one today is the green one

The wax is still cold but I am waiting, I did not know the bulb was blue either.

After so many years of watching the Fluidiums on the net and now open a brand new one is just a strange feeling going through my body, My heart is beating louder and my hands are still shivering.

Maybe I am crazy to feel that feeling don't you think ?

I wanted to share that unboxing with you :)

That is pictures from the yellow one I will receive next week ....

I took off the blue bulb of the Opal and put a white Bulb ( but i won't open the Opal)

I open rhe Green and change the liquid with a mix of sea salt and distilled water with one drop of clear liquid wash and I did the same with the Orange one...

Now let's wait and see in a couole of hours

How are they running now that you have redone the liquid? I am lucky that only one of my Mathmos lamps is cloudy. It's one of my Jets and it actually didn't bother me at first because it kinda just gave off a glow.... But now that I have several grouped together, it sticks out and looks awful. I'm thinking about replacing the liquid but Mathmos fluid will be pricey. Not sure which route to take... Or just leave it alone. Maybe goo kit? I just hate using dimmers.

I buy mathmos via a third party shipper with UK address 

it's a bit pricy but not as bad as eBay international

Faster too

I have one FLuidium but eventually, plan on completing the collection

I have a full complement of Jetx, some Astros, Telstar, etc

YES!, I know the flag is upside down

everything is long since packed away to move.
